My Background and Experience
I am a retired educator with 21 years classroom experience, and I hold professional licenses in Massachusetts and South Carolina in Instructional Technology and English Language Arts. I am also a Google for Education Certified Trainer.
Beginning my teaching career in 2002, I quickly developed not only a passion for the classroom and my content area, but also a love of incorporating technology into my lessons. I became the go-to person for all questions ed tech and began presenting at conferences and in my district. In 2017, I became an Instructional Technologist at the local vocational high school where I was the school's tech integration specialist working with teachers to help them effectively incorporate technology into their instruction.
I retired from the classroom in 2023,
but I'm not done with education just yet!
